- Function as the primary point of contact for the technical components of the project to the Program/Project Manager and ISD Management.
- Attend project meetings, provide project status to the Project/Program Manager and assumes the ownership for the delivery of the ISD technical components of the project.
- Develop technical components of the work estimates throughout the project life cycle through assigned staff.
- Identify technical resource requirements and ensures that the requirements are entered into the time reporting system.
- Address, resolve and act as the escalation point on infrastructure related technical issues.
- Deliver technical components of the project with a focus on meeting the defined delivery time, budgetary and quality commitments.
- Present a cohesive view of the technical components of the project.
- Communicate with stakeholders on service performance and issues.
- Deliver the overall quality of the technical project artifacts.
- Maintain the Estimate to Complete (ETC) monthly project re-forecasting process for their assigned project (s).
- Deliver the assigned SDLC artifacts.
- Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of all the stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication with all the areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Assist Senior/Lead Project Managers in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
- 5+ years of experience managing various infrastructure (network, server, desktop deployment/migration, etc.) projects.
- Knowledge of portfolio management best practices.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, testing methodologies, and application development methodologies.
- Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior level ISD and business management on complex technical topics and issues.
- Strong experience using MS Office Suite.
- Ability to receive moderate level of guidance and direction from more senior managers.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Significant progress towards PMP, or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
