- Take overall responsibility for the successful completion of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Utilize your specialized knowledge and experience in pre-engineered metal building systems (PEMB) to provide technical guidance and support to project teams. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Supervise and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project. Provide clear instructions, coordinate activities, and manage workflow to maintain productivity and achieve project goals.
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment by implementing and adhering to all applicable safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct inspections, review work progress, and address any deviations or deficiencies promptly.
- Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, including progress reports, daily logs, change orders, and other project-related documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a specific focus on pre-engineered metal building construction. Demonstrated experience in successfully completing projects of similar scope and complexity.
- In-depth knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems, including design, fabrication, erection, and integration with other construction components. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to motivate and guide construction teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, architects, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, propose effective solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices. Commitment to fostering a culture of safety on construction sites.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
- Must be willing/able to travel from project to project throughout the country and be away from home for an extended period of time.
