    Part Time Chateaux Night Audit/Front Desk

    Able to verify, reconcile, and consolidate all daily transactions for all outlets of the Chateaux at Deer Valley. Attention to detail is critical and the ability to handle any/all situations on the graveyard shift with good judgment. As Front Desk Agent, must be familiar with all Front Desk Operations.

    Essential Functions:
    • Welcome guests to the Chateaux
    • Effectively and seriously deal with guest complaints
    • Answer phone in a very courteous manner and respond to guests promptly and efficiently
    • Have full knowledge of computer system to effectively check-in and check-out guests on a timely basis. Ensure all guests are informed of the Hotel amenities at check-in and that all credit card paying guests are set-up with express check-out
    • Have thorough knowledge of Chateauax facilities, amenities, departments, and managers
    • Read log book and handle any outstanding requests
    • Ensure the staff phone list is updated
    • Record daily weather conditions on phone system and log book each shift
    • Make personal wake-up calls in a friendly and timely manner
    • Perform a variety of clerical and office duties, which may be assumed by one FDA or divided among several FDAs according to the work load. This includes counting and verifying cash drawer and deposit, posting and balancing charges, verifying credit, completing bucket check, setting up arrivals, properly processing VIPs, and blocking special requests. All reports, forms, and checklists must be completed in a accurate and timely manner
    • Serves as information agent for Hotel guests and handles their needs or directs information to satisfy their needs. Responds to all guest requests. Be fully aware of daily functions in the Hotel
    • Knowledgeable of local activities and area attractions that may enhance the stay of our guests
    • Display working knowledge of reservations and room availability functions. Take reservations and messages as requested
    • Acknowledges owners and previous guests as appropriate
    • Log all incoming faxes and ensure prompt delivery
    • Keep DND log updated
    • Input guest history information as needed
    • Ensure fax and copy machines are fully stocked with paper
    • Take accurate messages for guests and managers (including date, time, caller, message)
    • Complete department check list each shift
    • Process all guests' special requests and VIP services in a timely manner
    • Ensure that all guest mail, messages, faxes, federal express, and other overnight deliveries are delivered to guest promptly
    • Complete weekly room key and front desk supplies inventory
    • Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all guests and employees
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area
    • Do whatever necessary to help guests and fellow employees
    Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
    • High school diploma required/some college preferred
    • Previous sales/service experience preferred
    • Typing/computer keyboard and basic math skills required
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Has an enthusiastic willingness to work together with a team
    • Ability to work flexible hours (days, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
