Position Responsibilities:
We are on the lookout for an intellectually curious, growth-oriented VP of Product who thrives in collaboration. This role requires a track record of success in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
You will be responsible for leading the product development team and driving the overall product strategy and vision.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver innovative and market-leading products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of technology, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiencesThis role includes:
Develop and Execute Product Strategy - Define and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, focusing on innovation, market needs, and differentiation.
Oversee the planning, prioritization, and development of new products and features, ensuring they meet quality standards, user needs, and time-to-market expectations.
Continuously analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategic direction.
Cross-functional Team Leadership
Engage with key customers to gather insights, foster relationships, and validate product direction, ensuring solutions meet market demands and customer expectations.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, including usage metrics, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet goals.
Pricing:
Identify opportunities for repackaging existing products to better meet customer needs and drive sales.
Evaluate pricing change opportunities to optimize revenue and customer value.
Product Roadmap Management -
Develop and maintain a dynamic product roadmap that communicates the vision, priority, and progress of product initiatives to internal teams and stakeholders.
Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation within the product team, encouraging rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and feedback loops to refine product offerings.
Regularly communicate product vision, updates, and strategic decisions to internal teams, leaders, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the organization.
Serve as the quarterback between marketing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product development process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Product, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years in a Product leadership role
Ability to create a strong strategy for SaaS growth, leveraging the mechanics of customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, churn rates, and expansion revenue.
Expertise in market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and development.Comprehensive knowledge of agile or squad development methodologies, product lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategies.
Understanding of the financial aspects of product development, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, to ensure the product's success contributes positively to the company's financial objectives.
Early startup experienceProven success in performance management for mid- large team sizes
Strong skills in verbal and written communications, strategic planning, and project management
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
