    Provide site and inter-company procurement and support to secure required parts and materials for systems installation and aftermarket sales orders.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    Issue purchase orders to meet aftermarket sales order demand, sales forecast and maintain safety stock. Evaluate and action MRP messages and reschedule PO's as required.

    Manage supplier open orders, due dates and quantities to ensure correct parts are delivered on-time.

    Interact with suppliers and quality re:

    non-conforming material (NCR) returns or requests for credit.
    Manage and update part master details in ERP including lead times, safety stock, tier level and MOQ.
    Identify sources for supply, negotiate pricing and ensure parts purchased adhere to Flow engineering requirements
    Identify, resolve, and expedite issues to ensure fast resolution and timely delivery of parts.
    Respond to Customer Service and Project Management questions re:

    part availability and lead time.
    Implement ECO's including cost impact analysis, sending drawing, specs and RFQ's to suppliers and setting up parts in ERP.
    Initiate and renew master supplier agreements including pricing and stocking levels.
    Investigate and coordinate resolution of supplier invoice discrepancies.
    Lead or participate in projects related to part changes, supplier changes and process improvements.
    Develop/manage PIPO (Phase in-Phase out) plan for transition to new part number or supplier.
    Manage disposition of rejected, excess, and obsolete parts in accordance with company policy.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Knowledge of materials management, supply chain, distribution, warehousing and purchasing.
    High level of MRP literacy (Microsoft AX preferred).
    Ability to read and understand MRP signals and identify potential issues.
    Experience setting up item/material master parameters in MRP.
    Experience with custom, highly engineered components and assemblies.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Demonstrated sense of urgency.
    High level of analytical ability where problems are complex
    Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
    Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment.
    PC proficient, working knowledge of MS Office applications, Microsoft Dynamics AX experience desired.
    Ability to read blueprints preferred.
    Must be able to travel occasionally.

    Education and/or Training:

    Two year degree or equivalent experience or training a plus.
    Minimum of five (5) years' experience in purchasing or a manufacturing environment, or any combination.
    Working knowledge of purchasing and supply chain concepts with APICS, CPIM, NAPM certification and/or association a plus.
