- This Recruitment is for Limited Intermittent (L.I.E.) Registered Nurse.This position will be limited to 1500 hours per fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) and will be used on an on-call as needed basis with no guarantee of hours or a certain shift.
- All hours worked (e.g., regular shifts, training, sick leave, vacation, and holiday hours) count toward the 1500-hour maximum.
- Intermittent time base is Positive Pay.Payroll for Positive Pay employees is issued from attendance report after close of pay period and is paid by the 15 th of the following month.

Description
Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) II/III, Correctional Facility (CF), and the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), CF and other members of the licensed nursing team, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and related nonprofessional health care activities for patients in a variety of treatment facilities and health care settings. As directed and in collaboration with the nursing care team, the CNA is primarily responsible for performing basic nursing care
procedures such as assisting patients with physical care, activities of daily living, ensuring patient safety, and suicide watch activities including suicide precaution and restraint monitoring. The CNA is responsible for addressing the ongoing needs of patients, working with the licensed nursing staff and other health care providers, and promoting the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Nursing Assistant Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
All employees must have general qualifications as described by California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 172.
