    The Project Engineer ll will conduct engineering design evaluations and oversees projects to ensure adherence to budget and scheduling constraints.

    They also review industry policies for accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance, provide technical support, design operational plans, monitor progress, resolve operational issues, and allocate necessary resources for project completion.

    DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Project Engineer ll include, but are not limited to:
    Oversee a diverse range of capital projects, encompassing activities such as design, planning, cost estimation, contractor/resource assessment, and relationship management from initiation to commissioning and turnover


    These projects include:
    Cost reduction projects.
    Enhancements targeting safety, regulatory compliance, quality, and reliability improvements.
    Project budgets typically range from $5 million to $1 million or more.
    Efficiently manage multiple projects utilizing shared resources.
    Offer technical support and expertise for operational troubleshooting and, as necessary, for new product and process development endeavors.

    ProfileThe successful Project Engineer ll will:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical), or a related field from a four-year college.
    Preferably 3-5 years of project management experience within a manufacturing setting.
    Proficient understanding of heat transfer, fluid flow, pumping, piping, and instrumentation is essential.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
    Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with personnel across operations, maintenance, utilities, and analytical departments.
    Practical knowledge encompassing mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering disciplines, coupled with familiarity with environmental and regulatory standards.
    Familiarity with engineering standards such as ASME, API, UL, is advantageous.
