    Description

    Hollings Cancer Center Infusion Unit is based in the Hollings Cancer Center and provides care to our oncology patients throughout South Carolina.

    We offer specialized oncology care including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T in our outpatient infusion unit.

    We currently have 42 infusion chairs with opportunities to expand into a phase 1 research trial space and a unique BMT and CAR-T standalone unit in the future.

    Work Shift
    Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients.

    Minimum training and education : Bachelor of Nursing degree and a minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse required.

    \Frequent) Ability to perform "pinching" operations. (from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted. (For every 100 additional pounds, assistance will be required from another healthcare worker.
