    An Associate Brand Manager is responsible for maintaining a brand's public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives.

    Their duties include communicating with company executives, product/marketing personnel, and external stakeholders like influencers, trade, media, etc.; completing research into industry trends and public perception and driving the briefing and approval process to both internal and external agencies regarding wholistic brand executions from copy to package, advertising to PR/MR.

    Their ultimate goal is to strengthen the awareness, attitude and use of the brand with consumers, trade and the media.

    Essential Job Functions
    Manage brand strategy to ensure product propositions are properly brought to life and resonate with consumers.
    Help establish, articulate and execute a brand marketing strategy across all communication and touchpoints.
    Responsible for implementing and managing marketing plans, budgets, and timelines.
    Responsible for creating and maintaining brand guidelines to include:

    Brand Promise
    Personality and tone of the brand (written, verbal and visual)
    Brand treatment/logo
    Approved icons & graphic elements
    Approved colors
    Typography
    Approved still photography
    Approved lifestyle photography and treatment
    Approved social media content
    Approved video content

    Develop processes to ensure compliance and consistency of brand guidelines.

    Responsible for managing and developing digital assets for Hillman brands and working with Product and Creative teams on a prioritized shot list for asset creation.

    Build the brand to reflect the "truths" by spending time with customers and prospects to understand their needs, their objections and how they see our products fitting into their lives.

    Stay on top of market research and trends to ensure our brands are ahead of competitors and driving the market.

    Manage agency and stakeholder (internal and external) relationships as appropriate
    Give constructive design direction and feedback to the marketing and creative service team on brand execution and implementation.

    Education & Experience
    3 to 5 years of product marketing or brand management experience. Home Improvement and/or Fastening and hardware background is a definite plus.
    Bachelor's Degree in Business with Advertising and Marketing concentration. MBA a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs – Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must.
    Must have brand management and marketing skills for building world-class brands. Creative design and product development experience is helpful

    A natural interest in identifying consumer needs and developing plans to reach target audience. You understand what it takes to identify, engage, and build loyalty in new audiences.
