    Job Title: Service Technician Manager

    Location: Phoenix, AZ

    Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 annually

    Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician Manager to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The Service Technician Manager will play a key role in leading and managing the service technician team, ensuring the delivery of top-notch service and support to their clients. With a focus on reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, they specialize in servicing a wide range of equipment essential for construction operations, including wheelers, excavators, backhoes, heavy machinery, and more.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of service technicians, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
    • Schedule and dispatch service calls, preventive maintenance tasks, and repairs in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing based on urgency and client needs.
    • Manage service contracts, warranties, and customer relationships, ensuring clear communication, timely response to inquiries, and resolution of issues to maintain customer loyalty and retention.
    • Oversee inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies, maintaining stock levels, and tracking usage to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of service tasks.
    • Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, such as response time, first-time fix rate, and customer satisfaction scores, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a service technician role.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
    • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing construction equipment, such as wheelers, excavators, and heavy machinery.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of technicians to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficient computer skills, including experience with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
