    Growing Minds Behavioral Health
Growing Minds Behavioral Health Pittsburg, United States

    Default job background
    Description

We know you have your choice of places to work so instead of telling you the requirements for
the job, we'd like to start by telling you why we are a great place to work

We are a fresh company Our team collectively has many years of experience in the field of
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) but Growing Minds Behavioral health was fully realized and
formed just a couple short years ago. As such we are learning and growing and looking to add
people to our team who are visionaries and truly want to be part of a something special
because that is what we are creating.

Have a voice where you work We believe that our RBTs are truly valuable members of our
team and we take your opinions and feedback seriously. We mean it too. We have our
employees complete anonymous surveys because lets be real- it can be hard to give your
supervisor feedback face-to-face. We do our best to implement changes where we can based
    upon the feedback we receive

Do you want to work somewhere where you can grow? We have a low turnover rate and
many of our team members have been with us from the start As we grow we are creating
innovative ways to increase opportunities for growth from within. Our team loves it here
Know your coworkers Have you worked at other companies and found that you never meet
other employees outside of your boss in real life? We've all been there at that sucks We hold
monthly in-person team meetings and regularly scheduled events so that we can build
    community within the organization.

Provide play-based therapy Many companies say they provide play-based therapy but do
you see it in action? Let's have fun while we work The kiddos love when their technicians
arrive because we pair REALLY well with them by engaging them in activities based off of their
    own motivation.

We'd love to tell you more about us and hear to all about you. Standard job requirements
apply and we are always open to assisting the right candidate in becoming an RBT. We believe
with the right training for a person who has a heart for helping others and is not afraid to get a
little silly this can be a great fit

    ABOUT US

Growing Minds Behavioral Health is a behavior based company built on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and Pivotal Response Treatment. Our focus at Growing Minds is on developing pivotal skills for our clients that will lead to learning through a variety of both structured and child-led activities. Our primary goal is to increase the functioning of each client.

We focus on four pivotal areas:
Motivation, response to multiple cues, self-management, and initiation of social interactions. Sessions occur in a variety of settings which can include home, school and community settings.

    OUR MISSION

Our mission is to promote the growth and development of the whole family as it pertains to the clients we are called to serve. We aim to provide the highest quality services to our clients with measured and observable growth. Through empowering parents with knowledge of managing behaviors and increasing skills our focus is to increase social awareness, independence, communication and play all while having fun

We aim to help our clients unleash their full potential whether that be learning to ride a bike or learning to brush their teeth.

Where we see a need our goal is to help our clients achieve theirs. We are a no judgment zone. We will laugh with you. We will cry with you. We believe in having fun. Children learn best when they are having a good time. We believe in consistency. We believe that in order to change others behavior we must first change our own.
