    Description
    Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency is looking for a Systems Administrator 3. Incumbent installs, monitors, maintains, and secures information technology systems and software in a cloud and on-premises environment. Serves as advanced level subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to IT staff and end-users to resolve problems. This position is set to run through 6/28/2024 with a strong chance of extension.

    Hours:

    8-5 Monday through Friday


    Pay:
    $30.10/hour

    This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2days telework

    Open to non-local candidates willing to relocate and be onsite from day 1.


    Job Duties:
    Installs, monitors, maintains, and secures information technology systems and software in a cloud and on-premises environment. Serves as advanced level subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to IT staff and end-users to resolve problems.

    The intent of this role is advanced level administration of O365/Azure. This role is not intended for PC end user support or entry level Systems Admin support.


    Skills:

    • Advanced administration experience in Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, Cloud Networking, Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktops, Azure Storage, Enterprise Applications, etc.)
    • Advanced tenant level administration experience with O365
    • Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with administration of Active Directory (i.e. Domain Controllers, Group Policy)
    • Experience using VMware (vSphere and vCenter)
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
    • Identifies and recommend updates to the current network, computer systems, and systems architecture
    • Ability to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Prepares documentation and procedures
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    _Education and

    Experience:


    _ Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from an accredited college or university AND three years of related experience; OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND five years of related experience; OR seven years of related experience; OR three years of experience at the lower-level Systems Administrator 2 or position equivalent.


    Experience:

    2 or more years of Microsoft Azure Administration


    Certifications:
    Azure Administrator; Azure Security Engineer


    Travel:
    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel will be likely.
