- Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure the proper positioning of patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Operate X-ray equipment and related machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and interpretations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to other healthcare team members as needed.
- Willing to learn Audiometric Testing, Qualitative and Quantitative Fit Testing, Drug Screens and EKGs.
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or X-Ray Technician (ARRT).
- Current state licensure or certification as required by regulations.
- Proven experience working as an X-Ray Technician in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational medicine or related field.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
- Basic computer skills for electronic medical record documentation.
