Responsibilities of the PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant):

• Assists in provision of physical therapy treatments under supervision of licensed physical therapist (e.g., applies & uses heat, cold, light, sound, water & massage).
• Performs standard tests & measurements (e.

g., R.O.M., manual muscle, joint motion) & periodically assists licensed physical therapist in performing more complex evaluations & treatments.
