    Summary:
    Presbyterian is hiring a Register Nurse to support our Oncology Department at Rust Medical Center.

    The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for patients who have cancer and for those undergoing treatment.

    Deliver chemo/bio products and education to cancer patient population. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

    Qualifications


    Credentials:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
    • Must maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department.
    • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire
    • National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire.
    Preference


    • 2 years medical surgical or ICU nursing experience preferred, Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred.
