    Description

    Located on the picturesque Maine coastline, Waldo County General Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join its expanding medical staff. Work within a regional Healthcare system with a large primary care referral network to help serve the coastal Maine communities. Practice in a busy clinic collaborating with two Physicians and two Physician Assistants caring for the coast. This position is a full-time opportunity with one to two days in the operating room and two days in the clinic. The newly renovated, beautiful orthopedic clinic is located inside the hospital and allows easy patient access.

    Waldo County General Hospital: A member of the MaineHealth system, Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) is a 25 bed critical access full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Belfast, Maine. We offer inpatient and outpatient care to the coastal communities of Maine with Hospitalist Services, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, and the Surgical Services Department. Our medical staff also serves our rural communities as well with four rural health centers, which increases access to primary care in our area.
