Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services within an educational setting in Salisbury, MD.
This contract position focuses on supporting students from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade who present with mild to moderate disabilities. The caseload consists of approximately 40-50 children, offering a diverse and impactful experience.Responsibilities
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy tailored to students with a range of mild to moderate communication needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust therapy approaches as needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and regulations.
Qualifications And Experience
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
Experience working with school-aged children, especially within Pre-K to 6th grade.
Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and related speech-language disorders.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams.
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
