    Responsibilities:


    Install, maintain, and repair large and complex HVAC systems used in commercial buildings like offices, schools, hospitals, data centers, and manufacturing facilities.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues involving various equipment like chillers, boilers, air handling units, building automation systems, and rooftop units.

    Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
    Conduct comprehensive system inspections and identify potential problems before they arise.
    Maintain comprehensive documentation of service calls, repairs, and system performance.
    Provide excellent customer service to building owners and managers, explaining issues, recommending solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
    Adhere to all safety regulations and codes specific to the commercial HVAC industry.
    May be responsible for training junior technicians.

    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Completion of an HVAC technician program with a focus on commercial systems.
    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working on commercial HVAC systems.
    Must be able to work on call rotation on the weekends
    Must pass HAIR follicle test
    Must pass BACKGROUND check
    TWIC (Transportation workers identification certificate.)
    Strong understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration, electrical systems, and building automation controls.
    Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    EPA 608 certification and knowledge of relevant building codes are highly preferred.

    Additional Skills and Experience:
    Experience with specific types of commercial HVAC systems (e.g., chillers, VRF systems, building automation platforms).
    Strong troubleshooting skills with complex electrical and mechanical systems.
    Experience with brazing, welding, and other metalworking skills.
    Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and building automation protocols.
