- Manage Transportation Supervisors in all phases of the pick-up and delivery operation, including customer service, productivity, quality freight handling, and claims prevention.
- Responsible, in whole or in part, for recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, development, supervision, performance management and discipline of Transportation Supervisors.
- Maintain positive employee relations that enhances recruitment, retention and development of Transportation Supervisors and other transportation personnel.
- Plan operations and manage overhead and personnel, including compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Coordinate assets within the assigned region, ensuring operating objectives for the CTS Fleet are met.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain driver staffing requirements for assigned region's fleet.
- Support continuous improvement in the Five Focus Areas of Operational Excellence: Safety, People, Service, Quality, and Cost.
- Maintain ISO certification, focusing on customer needs, and supporting the goal of maintaining VPP Certification.
- Lead sustainability efforts of assigned region's fleet as well as championing other sustainability efforts as needed.
- Monitor transportation operations to ensure best practices are consistently used.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have one (1) year of logistics or planning and scheduling experience
- Have a least a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business
- Have at least one (1) year experience working with Over The Road (OTR)/Commercial Truck Drivers
