    Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Travel Nurse

    We are seeking experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses for an immediate travel nurse opportunity in Morgantown, WV.

    The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and possess the following skills:

    • Provide critical care to pediatric patients as part of a medical team.
    • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and families to ensure coordinated care.

    Detailed Job Responsibilities:

    • Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
    • Follow cardiac and respiratory monitor readings, reporting any observed changes.
    • Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs (central venous and arterial).
    • Adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as ventilators.
    • Assist physician during examination, treatment, and procedures.
    • Insert or discontinue CV catheters, arterial lines, external ventricular drains, Foleys, epidural catheters, and endotracheal tubes.

    Requirements:

    • ACLS certification
    • BLS certification
    • PALS certification
    • 2 Years of experience

    Physical Demands:

    This role requires standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty. RNs must be able to lift 10-20 pounds of equipment easily.
