    Nesco Resource is in search of a Sr. Electrical Engineer to work one of our clients based in Milford, CT.

    SUMMARY:
    As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will be a hands-on part of a team designing innovative LED lighting and power solutions and addressing specific client customizations. You will be a part of all aspects of the process, from concept to R&D, to production.

    ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead new product developments for lighting and power supply products.
    • Provide technical knowledge and counsel to non-technical audiences, such as customers or other departments.
    • Create and maintain documentation including drawings, schematics and Bill of Materials for many product SKUs.
    • Analyze, test and optimize products utilizing different LED and power supply products, transformers and circuits.
    • Develop testing protocols for newly developed products.
    • Coordinate NRTL certification testing for all new product developments.
    • Coordinate and lead other development resources, such as Junior Engineers or Technicians.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree with at least 5 years of product development experience.
    • Electronics experience with power supplies, AC voltages, DC voltages, Capacitors, Rectifiers and other components.
    • Experience with analog and digital circuitry.
    • Lighting design or product development experience.
    • Proven proficiency at writing technical reports and performing technical or failure analysis.
    • Experience with PCB creation and verification.
    • Experience with UL, CSA, ETL or other NRTL standards and testing.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    • Direct hire with excellent benefits
    • 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
    • Salary range: $90 - $115K depending on experience
