    JOB SUMMARY:
    The Procurement Specialist will work at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) located on the Idaho National Lab.

    The Procurement Specialist is responsible for complex procurement actions, including vendor sourcing, solicitation, proposal evaluation, delivery, closeout, and all associated aspects of the procurement process; contract oversight to ensure all applicable contract requirements, BWXT corporate policies and Federal Acquisition Regulations are appropriately applied to procurement actions; overseeing and tracking the purchasing of materials and services to ensure all project needs and timelines are met; auditing the receiving / receipt controls of materials; auditing material stores inventories; establishing purchase orders / purchasing agreements with vendors through BWXT Corporate Procurement; auditing Purchase Card reconciliations monthly; and drafting Approval Requests (AR) to the customer for procurements as required by BWSR procurement procedures and the BWSR contract.
