At Fresh Freight, our employees are our greatest asset. Our Logistics Coordinators are responsible for creating, scheduling, monitoring, and system maintenance of all shipments nationwide. Coordinators work closely with drivers, customers, shippers, and receivers to ensure time sensitive shipments are executed on-time.
Our Coordinators are the foundation of our organization. This position provides a hands-on opportunity to learn the food shipping and transportation industry. This is a full-time position with a path for advancement within the company.

Primary ResponsibilitiesConstant communication via telephone and emailWork with the Account Managers to meet or exceed customer service level performanceAppointment scheduling to ensure pickup and delivery day/times meet the customers expectationsShipment tracking throughout the lifecycle of the load, which includes items on the check call procedure guideline (on time, in full, at the correct temperature)Update customers and the Account Manager on shipment statusAssist the Account Manager with data generationCollaborate with the Carrier Sales Team to modify pick-up and/or delivery appointments to ensure load coverageAssist the Fleet Team with pickup and delivery modificationsEnsure data is accurately input into our systemsProactively mitigate minor problem resolutionEscalate major resolution opportunities to the Account ManagerAssist operations in a variety of tasksWeekend coverage on a rotational basisRequirementsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentEffective communicator with good active listening skillsStrong organizational skills with an attention to detailAbility to work in a fast paced, upbeat environmentAbility to multi-taskIntermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applicationsProfessional and positive attitudeIndustry experience preferredHigh school degree or equivalent.
