    The Catering & Events Coordinator at PGA National Resort responsibilities:
  • Essential job functions: Fielding and qualifying incoming leads
  • Support the Catering Sales & Service Managers with any needs such as contract generation, lead support, banquet event order preparation, signage, resumes, proposals and any other assets needed to support sales & marketing
  • Internet research and light marketing duties – such as posting on social media
  • Engagement with clients through phone calls, email, text and special requests and obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room and meeting room requirements and follow up to ensure arraignments are complete
  • Coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate to enhance guest events
  • This position may also perform other duties as assigned (guest room tours, property tours, special guest requests, maintaining calendars, answering phones and routing to appropriate sales staff, handling of mail, faxes,
    Qualifications: High School Diploma plus 2 years experience in a sales/catering office or related field. College Degree and prior sales experience and wedding planning experience is preferred.

    Type at least 50 wpm; proficient Microsoft office skills.

    Delphi and/or property management software system knowledge or aptitude for computer software necessary. Able to work nights and weekends and holidays if necessary.

Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
