- Assist students with learning activities, reinforcing instruction provided by the classroom teacher.
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Provide individualized or small-group support as directed by classroom teachers or special education staff.
- Assist with classroom management and help maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Monitor and support student safety and adherence to school policies.
- Uphold computer technology acceptable-use policies.
- Follow building procedures and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and support staff regarding student progress and any relevant observations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational or support setting preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting the academic, social, and personal growth of students.
- Flexibility in work assignments and willingness to support the safe and effective operation of the school.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
