    Come be a part of this journey with us as we champion livesJob SummaryThe New Business II works within the New Business department, which is responsible for accurately processing new business of multiple product lines from the point of application entry, until the policy goes in force, excluding underwriting.

    This includes analyzing multiple forms, processing and applying premium payments, setting up billing, and creating external correspondence. All must be done in accordance with state and regulatory guidance.

    This role partners with Case Management to deliver a customer focused approach to the prioritizing and processing of new business to meet specific service level targets.


    Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Perform application entry including reviewing multiple forms, verifying licensing requirements, and appropriately notifying the field partner of missing requirements.

    Process and apply premium payments, refund premium and initiate transfers or exchanges from outside carriersAdhere to and process state replacement notificationsAdhere to and conduct required suitability review and documentationCollaborate with New Business teams to prioritize daily work itemsUnderstand and review New Business and (some) Underwriting formsCreate work items for other department teams to processClearly and concisely communicate to the team and fieldCreate documents to be included with the customer's insurance policyIdentify and recommend opportunities for efficiency and innovationDemonstrate EWA and support OneAmerica WaysJob RequirementsRequired Education and/or CertificationsHigh school diploma/GEDRecommended Education and/or CertificationsB.A./B.S.

    College DegreeRequired Work Experience1 year of NB I Experience OR 3 years in professional work setting.


    Insurance experience preferredOr any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent backgroundSalary Band: 02BThis selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.

    The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
