    The Director of Nursing RN ensures the quality of patient/resident care, services and outcomes.

    Integrate nursing functions with other disciplines to ensure a team approach to the holistic care of the patients/ residents that is consistent with the Ebenezer philosophy.

    Has a strategic approach to maintaining standards within Ebenezer to support transitional and long-term care residents-patients at Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN.

    This is a full time DON, Nursing Leadership Position
    80 Hours per pay period; Manager on duty rotation

    Lake City Care Center is a skilled nursing facility owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer.

    At any given time, as many as 90 people call our Long Term Care and Transitional Care Center their home.

    Since we opened in 1978, we've served thousands.

    Our care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

    Responsibilities/Job Description:
    Ensures the quality and clinical compliance of nursing care for residents
    Plans, develops and directs new and enhanced health care programs; Adheres to budgets
    Provides ongoing leadership and oversite of the nursing department
    Assists with hiring and training
    Supports relationships between nursing and medical staff
    Stays current regarding long-term care trends and state/federal regulations

    Qualifications:
    Current MN RN licensure

    Prefer Bachelor's Degree:

    BSN
    Current CPR certification
    Preference given to those with Certified Gerontogical Nursing license
    Three to five years previous experience including: LTC and supervisory experience, Medicare and MN Case Mix Reimbursement preferred
