Description
Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Medical Imaging Department in the role of Radiology Technologist I, II, or III.
75 FTE 7 on 7 off with hours of: 2:00pm-9:00pm weekdays & 10:00am-9:00pm on weekends. With this schedule a team member will only work 26 weeks per year instead of the typical 52 and be eligible for the full-time benefits
POSITION SUMMARIES
The Radiology Technologist I possess professional working knowledge and the essential skill functions as it relates to the position required to properly perform General imaging exams.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Graduate of Radiology Technology Program endorsed by the ARRT
Registered Technologist R.T. (R)
CPR certification
Wisconsin State License-Licensed Radiographer
OR
The Radiology Technologist II possesses professional working knowledge and the essential skill functions as it relates to the position required to properly perform General imaging exams.
And possess one of the below listed advanced certifications:
The technologist has completed advanced certification in Mammography through the ARRT or has 15 years' experience in Mammography. The technologist complies with the regulations of the MQSA.
The technologist reviews patient history for screening versus diagnostic exam, produces and critiques quality images and completes patient information management consistent with the mammography exam.
The mammographer will have knowledge of complete workflow of mammography record keeping.The technologist has completed the advanced certification from the ARRT in Computerized Tomography or has 15 years CT experience. The technologist has knowledge of and applies the principles of CT. The technologist selects the scanning protocols for the appropriate exam and uses enhancing techniques for proper images.
The technologist identifies cross-sectional anatomy and uses advanced computerized equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional pictures of the internal structures of the body.
Image processing techniques and image management procedures are followed.
The technologist has completed the advanced certification from the ARRT or ISCD in Bone Densitometry or has 15 years' experience in Bone Density.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
Graduate of Radiology Technology Program endorsed by the ARRT
Completed advanced certification in mammography from the ARRT, or advanced certification in CT from the ARRT, or advanced certification in Bone Densitometry from the ARRT or ISCD.

CPR certification
OR
The Radiology Technologist III possesses professional working knowledge and the essential skill functions as it relates to the position required to properly perform General imaging exams.
The technologist has completed the advanced certification from the ARRT in Computerized Tomography or has 15 years CT experience. The technologist has knowledge of and applies the principles of CT. The technologist selects the scanning protocols for the appropriate exam, and uses enhancing techniques for proper images.
The technologist identifies cross-sectional anatomy and uses advanced computerized equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional pictures of the internal structures of the body.
