    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience and current ARRT (MR) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 2 trauma hospital in Sarasota, FL.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the MRI department of a large acute care hospital with 895 beds and Level 2 trauma designation
    10-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday
    13-week contract
    This is a temp-to-perm position — candidates should be open to a permanent placement opportunity
    Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel assignment
    First-time travelers will not be considered; prior travel or multi-facility acute care experience is required

    Requirements
    Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology or equivalent
    Minimum of 2 years of experience performing MRI, preferably in a hospital setting
    Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging
    Active Florida state license for General Radiographer (license required if applicable)
    BLS certification through ARC or AHA
    Current EMR experience required
    Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment, or have experience working in at least 2 large trauma facilities (800+ beds)
    Two professional references from the last two places of employment, covering the last year, from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse)
