    Opportunity:

    RN - IMC

    Job Details:


    • 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • 12-hour variable shifts: day shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, night shifts 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    • Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

    • Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum callback

    • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

    • 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory

    • ICU and Trauma Level II experience preferred

    • Ventilator/Trach experience required

    • At least 1 prior travel assignment required

    • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS

    • EPIC charting experience preferred

    • Work in 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring

    • 4:1 patient ratio caring for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and strokes

    • Manage insulin drips and primary patient care

    • Any color scrubs permitted

    • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

    • Fast-paced environment requiring independent work and timely task completion
