We are currently seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job summary
This position will prepare and review Durable Medical Equipment claims for accuracy prior to finalization of claim for submission as well as assist in development communication of SOPs for key areas.+
Responsibilities
+ Prepares reviews Durable Medical Equipment claims accuracy completeness obtains any missing informatio prior finalization claim submission.+ Verifies correct payor selection.+ Checks eligibility verifies benefits products dispensed.+ Utilizes insurance carrier portals eligibility claims information.+ Obtains authorization pre-authorization required.+ Works conjunction Health Information Management department ensure submission clean claims.+ Answers questions patients clerical staff insurance companies.+ Uses knowledge standard medical terminology basic human anatomy orthopedic diagnoses ICD-10 codes.+
Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent required+A minimum recent experience medical billing required+ Experience variety payor groups required+ Knowledge CPT ICD-10 HCPCS coding insurance billing rules+Job description
