    TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full time Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico


    Job Summary:

    Performs in-process and final inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure the product being built meets or exceeds established quality requirements.

    Provides oversight for assigned production floor areas to ensure operations are being performed according to applicable procedures and work instructions by trained personnel and that quality records are accurate and available as required.

    This position is for our N10 shift
    • Sunday-Wednesday, 3:00PM 1:30AMEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
    Other duties may be assigned.

    Inspect assigned products to ensure they meet specified quality requirements provided in the APEPs, assembly drawings, test plans and quality standards.

    Document the results of the in-process and final inspections and approvals to release product.
    Verify product travelers, data packets and other required quality records are complete and accurate.
    Verify kitted materials are accurate for the work order.
    Verify workstations meet requirements for ESD control, equipment and tool calibration, and safety.
    Work with Quality Engineers to evaluate suspected nonconformances found in the materials and products.
    May support quality processes for internal audits, corrective actions, and process qualifications.
    May support training for operators in techniques and skills of proper assembly procedures.
    As a member of the quality team, will be responsible for supporting all quality system processes and procedures.


    Required Skills & Experience:
    Minimum 1 year related experienceMust have knowledge of workmanship and quality standardsHave experience with technical documentationMust have soldering skills and knowledge of electronic circuits/schematicsMust be detail oriented and have the ability to multitaskMust have excellent communication/customer service skillsExperience with MS Office and Database softwareAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence

    Desired Skills:

    Experience with Electrical Bench Test Equipment/Instruments and Automated X-Ray Inspection EquipmentEducation: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
