    SUMMARY Welding of various pre-fitted assemblies for Columbia-class submarines, Virginia-class submarines, Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers, and associated fixtures is a critical task that requires proficiency in all welding positions with minimal defects. Work is performed in accordance with NAVSEA and/or AWS D1.1 specifications.

    The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret welding symbols, demonstrate basic knowledge of grinding, gouging, and weld repair, and stay focused on the job at hand while meeting deadlines.
