    Job Summary:

    Village Caregiving, a reputable company based in Rapid City, South Dakota, is in search of a caring individual to join their team as an In-Home Caregiver in the Hermosa area. This role involves providing crucial care and assistance to clients within the comfort of their own homes.

    The In-Home Caregiver will directly engage with clients to offer personal care aid and enhance their overall well-being.


    Details about the Role:

    • Days, nights, and overnight shifts are available for flexibility

    Compensation & Benefits:
    This position offers a competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $20, paid semi-monthly. Besides, flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment are provided. Ongoing training and resources ensure caregivers are well-prepared to deliver quality care.


    Responsibilities:

    • Offer personal care assistance like bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Aid in daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
    • Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation support
    • Maintain detailed documentation of care activities
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
    • Monitor clients' health status and report changes to supervisors
    • Adhere to company policies and regulations

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior caregiving experience or healthcare background is beneficial
    • Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication abilities
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks
