Software Development EngineerRemote, preferably in PST.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and develop the server infrastructure used across the entire Age portfolioImplement new features, increase reliability, improve observability, improve security and automate where possibleWork with the client teams to create new features for the Age game clientsWork with the web and community teams to create new features for the websiteProvide troubleshooting and timely resolution of system, network, and infrastructure problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of experience scripting and/or coding in any combination of Java, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python8+ concurrent years of designing building, managing, and supporting a large-scale Enterprise Grade network8+ years of professional experience working on large scale networks, such as cloud providers, web-scale companies, or service providers8+ years of professional software development experience in the networking domain, including C#, Python, REST, YAML, and workflow systemsExperience with technologies in the Java: Spring, Maven, Gradle, Ant, JUnit and among many othersWorking with an integrated development environment (IDE) like MS Visual Studios, IntelliJExperience with GIT, JSON, Python, Jenkins, XML is highly desirableExperience in developing and debugging multi-threaded applicationsKnowledge of network and routing protocols (e.g., IPv4, IPv6, TCP/UDP/HTTP(s) etc.).
No degree is required to be eligible for this role, however a bachelor's degree in the technical computer science related field is preferredMinimum 8+ years' experience with JavaMinimum 8+ years' experience with Server programmingMinimum 8+ years' experience working in the only setting doing java programming
