    Job Description

    Title: Nurse Practitioner- Outpatient Oncology

    Responsibilities:

    • Correctly administers prescribed treatments;
    • Correctly uses necessary equipment for patient care;
    • Offers emotional support to patients and their loved ones;
    • Applies scientific principles when performing procedures, ensuring they are done safely and efficiently;
    • Makes precise observations of patient's conditions during treatments and procedures; reports and records them appropriately;
    • Maintains accurate documentation of patient's treatment, activities, and condition, along with their responses to medical and nursing interventions;
    • Utilizes suitable documentation methods as per departmental guidelines;
    • Acts promptly and competently in any emergency situation, handling self, patients, and colleagues effectively;
    • Creates a serene and comfortable environment, communicating well with the patient's family or caregivers;
    • Participates in discharge planning and arranges referrals when needed;
    • Provides clear discharge instructions to patients and their loved ones.

    Requirements:

    • Assesses gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status;
    • Evaluates mobility, sensory impairments, use of prostheses, and skin condition, adjusting the care plan accordingly;
    • Evaluates the level of pain and its management;
    • Communicates and documents the patient's physiological health status and care plan.

    Education and Training:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred
    • Minimum one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
    • ACLS and BLS certifications required
      Vaccination mandatory.
