    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join a top mechanical contracting company in Houston, Texas.

    This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing HVAC and the ability to estimate and manage a variety of projects, from inception to completion.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of project management, cost estimation, and client relationship management within the mechanical contracting industry.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Estimation:

    • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
    • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand project needs and provide competitive bids.

    Project Management:

    • Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
    • Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Oversee project scheduling, materials procurement, and resource allocation.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness to client needs.
    • Address client concerns, changes in project scope, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients.

    Cost Control:

    • Implement cost control measures to maintain project profitability.
    • Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying and addressing any variances.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Promote and enforce safety measures and best practices to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate project records, including change orders, project schedules, and documentation of all communication.
    • Generate progress reports and provide updates to company management.

    Problem Solving:

    • Identify and resolve projectrelated issues and challenges in a proactive and efficient manner.
    • Seek innovative solutions to improve project performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience as an estimator and project manager in the mechanical contracting industry.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
    • Excellent understanding of project management principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing project requirements.
    • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
    • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites when necessary.
