    Job Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Preschool Teacher. The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans and curriculum, communicating with parents and staff, and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. We are looking for a leader who works well with staff and families. We want the person who joins our team to enjoy teaching, love children, and want to be here

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years experience in early childhood education required.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and develop curriculum
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff and supervise co-staff
    • Experience with Kindergarten readiness
    • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.
    • State teaching certification is a plus
    • PreK-3 or PreK-4 certification will garner a higher wage. It will be required to get this cert within the first year if you don't have it.
    • Wage rate $21-24/hour based on experience and education.
