The purpose of the position is to oversee Custodial and Utility Services
Position responsibilities include:
Actively participates in ongoing quality improvement activities of Legacy Treatment Services including but not limited to serving as a member of a quality improvement team, Consumer input, incident/accident and Consumer grievance review, peer record review and Program evaluation/quality improvement projects.
Operates all equipment normally associated with custodial and grounds maintenance to include: vacuums, buffers, power washers, lawn mowers and tractors.
Makes sure all janitorial logs are filled out and up-to-date.
Processes Purchase Requisitions in a timely manner.
Insures all chemicals and cleaning agents are handled, mixed and stored complying with OSHA, NFPA, and "Right to Know" regulations.
Opens and secures assigned buildings.
Embellish the grounds for changing seasons.
Provide emergency, on-call as needed.
Removes snow and ice when required.
May be required to assist maintenance staff with project work.
May make minor repairs of furniture, equipment and physical structures. Insure all equipment is properly maintained and secured.
Oversees and assists with special events set ups and volunteer groups.
Order special event rental supplies/equipment and maintain associated invoices.
Additional related duties as assigned by the Director of Operational Administrative Services.
Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
Hours:
Full Time; Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. plus planned and emergency overtime.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma preferred or two (2) years of institutional custodial experience. Should be familiar with basic hand tools and carpet/floor care.
