    Bellefaire JCB is one of the leading child service agencies in the country, offering a wide range of behavioral health, substance abuse, education, and prevention services. With over 25 programs, we assist over 30,000 youth and their families annually in achieving resilience, dignity, and self-sufficiency.

    Program Summary: Bellefaire JCB's Parents and Children Together (PACT) Family Therapy Program delivers intensive home-based treatment (IHBT) and Integrated Co-occurring Treatment (ICT) to families facing challenges such as social or emotional issues, housing or childcare issues, and more. The program serves children and adolescents with mental health symptoms and substance use disorders, while also supporting parents in understanding and addressing their children's emotional and behavioral health needs.Intern Position Summary: The Parents and Children Together (PACT) IHBT Intern role is a paid opportunity where qualified graduate students work under the supervision of an experienced clinician. Interns provide therapeutic services to children and families, gaining hands-on experience, advanced clinical training, and continuous supervisor support. The flexible schedule allows interns to balance their academic and personal commitments.Intern Experience Details: As a PACT IHBT Intern, responsibilities include:
    • Conducting assessments, counseling, and case management for youth and families.
    • Collaborating with various organizations and professionals involved with the clients.
    • Participating in individual and group supervision sessions, as well as departmental trainings.
    • Engaging in other activities to enhance the internship experience.
    Location: Services are delivered within the community, requiring some travel.Hours: Flexible field hours with potential evening work.Qualifications: This internship is available to second-year Master's students with a Bachelor's Degree and enrollment in a relevant program such as Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
