ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command's MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract.
This position, located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Duties include:
Provide expertise in system acquisition and transition planning, scheduling, analysis, requirements verification, evaluating technical documentation, and integration for SATCOM programs in the acquisition lifecycle
Develop and/or review various life cycle documentation to include, but not limited to: project reports, briefings, System Transition Plans, Operational Acceptance (OA) and Initial Operational Capability (IOC) Plans, Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP), Depot Maintenance Activation Plans (DMAP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), OA/IOC criteria, Integrated Schedules, Agreements, Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, Development Contractor Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents, etc.
Lead and manage system transition to operations process and activities, facilitate timely OA/IOC criteria closure and collect artifacts, assess system modifications/upgrades/changes, evaluate transition readiness against requirements and schedules, monitor progress, identify/assess deficiencies and potential risks, document transition lessons learned for process improvement, and report status with recommendations to the Program OfficeParticipate in and/or facilitate transition planning forums and working groups to include, but not limited to: Transition Management Working Group (TMWG), Integration meetings, Training Planning Team, technical design reviews, etc.
Lead site activation planning and execution for beddown and transition to operationsCreate and manage electronic databases

Qualifications Required (Skills)
A Bachelor's degree in any field with at least seven years' experience in DoD systems acquisition life cycle management/operations (or five years' experience if possessing a Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM-related field)
Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000 series) - proficient
Integrated Life Cycle Management (AFI 63-101/ proficient
System transition to operations and support - proficient
Project planning - proficient
12 Integrated Product Support Elements - proficient
Requirements management - proficient
Writing acquisition technical documentation - proficient
Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - proficient
Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
Program Office and/or HQ Space Operations Command (previous HQ AFSPC) process knowledge
Experience in weapon system transition to operations and support (Operational Acceptance, Initial Operational Capability, site activation)
Working autonomously with gov't customer, leading teams and projects, establishing/executing milestone and critical path schedules
Experience developing/reviewing life cycle management documentation (Transition Plans, Materiel Fielding Plans, etc.)
Understanding of DoD and joint service acquisition instructions and policy
US Citizenship and DoD Secret clearance are required for the position
Qualifications Desired
