MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Nurse Manager of the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Labs is responsible for the daily operational and clinical oversight of all invasive and interventional cardiac and interventional radiology areas.
The Manager provides leadership for the practice and delivery of safe, effective, efficient, ethical and culturally competent patient care for patient populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
This includes management of human, fiscal, material resources in accordance with hospital guideline, organizational philosophies, and in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science, Nursing (BSN) required.
At least three years of progressive experience in Cardiac Catheterization or Interventional Radiology3 years of healthcare leadership experienceCertification/ Licensure:
Current RN licensure of the State of New Jersey.
Certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life SupportRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist preferred.
