    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide leadership, guidance and expertise for I&E projects in the AN area while staying abreast of trends and developments in the company and site in general.

    Assist maintenance in troubleshooting in order to maintain continuity of production.

    Plan, manage, estimate, design, construct and startup the plant projects associated with DCS and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), instrumentation, and electrical systems.

    To coordinate with related engineering disciplines as required with an emphasis on oversight and control of budgets and scheduling.

    Provide technical expertise on state-of-the-art automation methods and techniques, knowledge of the latest trends in the areas of DCS and Safety systems, field instrumentation, and electrical equipment to implement best practices for the AN plants.

    Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations (i.e. OSHA, PSM, RAGAGEP) in regard to testing and preventive maintenance of I&E and DCS equipment.
    Provide training for maintenance and production related to automation related process or process equipment changes
    Identify and implement potential cost savings and safety related items. Make recommendations for standards in equipment and design.


    REQUIREMENTS
    A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required. Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years chemical plant and I&E maintenance experience preferred.
    7+ years' experience in DeltaV DCS.
    5+ years' experience in DeltaV SIS.
    The first priority of this position is the safe operation of the four AN plants. Strong emphasis on providing leadership and demonstrating qualities of a team player are important prerequisites.
    Other goals for this position are set annually and depend on the management emphasis and business climate. This position is partially responsible for the maintenance and project budgets for the four plants.

    This position requires a responsibility to assist with the production of four AN plants which are 24/7/365 operations and is therefore required participation on an "on-call" system.

    Will work with another AN I&E Engineer in his/her development and initial job assignments.
    The incumbent must possess broad based engineering and maintenance as well as planning and organizing skills.
