- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/ hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility as required.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Maintain industrial control system.
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
- Create and report repairs at the end of the shift. Complete required paperwork, document parts and material usage.
- Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Repair and maintain facilities and production equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain a positive and productive workplace.
- Perform set-up, start-up, shutdowns, maintenance repairs and PMs on production equipment.
- Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures and all other Plant Safety requirements related to supporting machinery uptime.
- Uses a wide variety of machine tools and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls
- Manufacturing machine troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift 50 pounds a minimum of ten times per day and lift 50 pounds over shoulder height occasionally
