Job summary
The Lead NPD Electrical Test Engineer supports the Regulator Business Unit by contributing to new product development and resiliency initiatives. This role develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing automation test systems and supports production line activities at contract manufacturers.In this role you will collaborate with Hardware Firmware Manufacturing teams to define Design for Test DFT automated test strategies design develop sustain automated production test systems improve throughput reduce operator error lead specification vendor selection procurement deployment advanced automated test systems PCBA final assembly develop maintain TestStand LabVIEW software structured reusable well documented code validate new control features functionality integration alignment customer requirements apply statistical methods CpK PpK GR R for test system validation release continuous improvement provide sustaining engineering support contract manufacturer test systems mentoring onsite support travel participate cross functional root cause failure analysis yield cycle time capacity ensure manufacturability through error proofing design reviews corrective action implementation lead PCBA BOM health management component obsolescence alternate part analysis support Manufacturing Quality teams resolving supplier production test issues.
