Avera is currently looking to hire Registered Nurses (RN) - Simulation Specialist

Job Summary

The Simulation Specialist oversees the planning, execution, and assessment of the simulation center. Responsibilities include managing daily operations of the simulation center, maintaining simulation tools, media, technology, and relevant resources for simulation education. Serves as an expert collaborator with healthcare professionals to fulfill simulation learning requirements, uphold quality care standards, and employ effective teaching and evaluation techniques.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing mandatory, while a Master's degree is advantageous.
Completion of a nursing program accredited by CCNE or NLN highly desired. Graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
Prior experience in simulation is a plus.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Active Registered Nurse license in South Dakota or eligibility for Multi-state licensure is mandatory.
Simulation Certification is desirable.
Preferably affiliated with a professional simulation organization.

Work Schedule

Working hours: Monday - Friday; 80 hours biweekly

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this role is provided below, with actual rates dependent on experience.

$39.25 per hour
