    Your role will also involve executing complete designs for design-build and design-assist projects, ensuring profitability, timely completion, and client satisfaction.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead design efforts for both design-build and plan & spec projects, ensuring accurate estimates and comprehensive documentation.
    Conduct site visits to assess existing building systems and conditions.
    Develop thorough project documents, including plans and specifications, to guide project management teams effectively.
    Demonstrate expertise in interpreting contract documents and making informed decisions independently.
    Collaborate with project management teams to develop value engineering solutions and optimize project efficiency.
    Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate project success.
    Maintain knowledge of industry codes, standards, plumbing systems, and mechanical systems.
    Obtain and maintain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
    Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and relevant state and local regulations.
    Utilize heat load calculation software and stay updated on design and engineering program advancements.
    Provide value engineering insights to enhance project profitability and efficiency.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical contracting or engineering.
    Proven track record in estimating and designing mechanical projects.
    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
    Strong personality traits, including initiative, leadership, and adaptability.
