    We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join senior care & living team in Bloomington, MN This direct care position is responsible for providing personal cares and designated health-related services, passing medications to enhance and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

    This caregiver schedule includes;


    • 32 hours every two weeks
    • Part time, short morning shifts; 6:15 AM - 11:30 AM
    • Includes every other weekend & holiday
    • Partial Benefit Eligible: (Paid Time Off, Retirement, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access)

    Responsibilities/Job Description


    • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
    • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
    • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
    • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
    • Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment
    • Assists with onboarding of new staff
    Qualifications


    Required:

    • Must be 18 years of age or CNA certification required if under 18
    • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor
    • Desire to work with seniors
    • Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff

    Preferred:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Completion of a formal CNA or HHA course
    • Previous caretaking experience
