Lower School Extended Day Program Assistant - Bethesda, United States - Sidwell Friends School
Description
Sidwell Friends, a coeducational Quaker day school, seeks fun and energetic part-time Assistants to work in the Extended Day Program located on its Bethesda, MD campus.
Hours for the program will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30 - 6:00 pm and Tuesdays from 1:30 6:00 pm.
Candidates with availability all 5 days will be prioritized; however, we will consider candidates who have availability 3 or more days during the specified time frames.
Daily responsibilities for our Assistants:
Successful candidates should be 18 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma and have prior experience working with children.
Additional qualifications include effective communication skills, flexibility, patience, a sense of humor, and a demonstrated love for working with young children and their families.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required; however, if you are not CPR/AED certified you will have the opportunity to complete the course upon hire.
Successful candidates will need to successfully complete all background checking requirements at the time of hire.
