    RN - Miami Gardens Homecare Nurse - Training Available


    Maxim Healthcare in Miami Gardens is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) to work with a Pediatric patient in their own home This is a great option for nurses who have always dreamed of an opportunity to start their career in Pediatric Nursing.

    Available Training:

    • Pediatrics (No previous experience required), Gastrostomy Tube (G-Tube), Tracheostomy, Ventilator, TPN

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
    • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
    • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
    • Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
    • Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
    • Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
    • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.
    • Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/ Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently licensed as an LPN/RN in Florida (if out of state, a compact/multistate license is accepted).
    • Current TB or Chest X-Ray (once Active with Maxim, we can provide an appointment if necessary).
    • Current BLS card.
